Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi attended the 10th China-Japan-South Korea Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Busan, South Korea, together with South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jie-won and Japanese Foreign Minister Ueda Yoko.

Wang Yi emphasized that China-Japan-South Korea cooperation has become the most institutionalized, comprehensive and well-equipped multilateral cooperation framework in East Asia.
He stated that this effectively serves the development of the three countries and benefits the people of the region.
Wang Yi said that the three countries should adhere to advocating mutual benefits and win-win results, and restart China-Japan-South Korea Free Trade Agreement negotiations as soon as possible.
He emphasized that it should continue the momentum of regional economic integration, develop multi-channel and multi-level regional free trade arrangements, and contribute to the common goal of progressing towards the Asia-Pacific free trade area.
We should also adhere to deepening scientific and technological innovation, strengthen cooperation in cutting-edge technology fields such as big data, blockchain and artificial intelligence, jointly maintain the stability and smoothness of the production and supply chain, and enhance the resilience of the regional production network, Wang Yi said.
