The developer community’s performance often plays a crucial role in measuring the blockchain ecosystem’s pulse. Particularly, over the past month, Ethereum, $BNB Chain, and Polygon have held the leading positions based on developer activity.

As the data from Santiment suggests, the other notable names include Arbitrum, Solana, Cosmos, Optimism, Avalanche, Gnosis, and Harmony. Nonetheless, when it comes to the individual performance of these platforms, the developer activity has notably declined over the past 30 days.

Ethereum Tops Blockchains in Monthly Developer Activity with 38.4K Events and 904 Contributors

Ethereum remains the top player in the blockchain sector when it comes to developer activity. In this respect, the blockchain network has recorded a total of 38.4K developer activity events over the month. This figure highlights a 17.35% decrease. In addition to this, the number of its event contributors has also dropped by 11.89%, hitting 904.

Following that, $BNB Chain, which is the 2nd top blockchain, has witnessed 15.9K events, denoting a 29.32% plunge. Similarly, a 14.64% dip has placed the number of its contributors at 478.

Subsequently, Polygon has emerged as the 3rd notable blockchain ecosystem in the case of developer activity, with 13.5K events. However, this figure shows a 26.34% dip alongside a 13.32% drop in the number of contributors at 358. Additionally, Arbitrum comes after it, accounting for 10.5K developer activity events and 295 contributors. These figures express 27.5% and 8.1% slumps over the month.
