Two major players in web3 gaming join forces to bring the worlds of web2 and web3 gaming closer. Gala Games and Elixir Games announce a partnership to bring the suite of Gala Games to the Elixir Games app!
A new distribution partnership is announced as Gala Games and Elixir Games join forces to bring the Gala portfolio to the Elixir Launcher! The first Gala Games titles to land on the Elixir launcher will be Spider Tanks and Town Star.
We don’t have specific dates for the launch of these games on the Elixir platform. Most people who are already involved with Gala Games will likely just continue to use the Gala Games launcher. But by bringing their games to Elixir, Gala Games significantly increases their potential audience.
Elixir also plans to hold gaming nights with prizes to promote these new additions to their ecosystem. In addition, Elixir will run a Gala Games node as part of their support for the Gala Games ecosystem.
What is Elixir Games?
Elixir Games have built the Elixir Launcher, a game manager and launcher, similar to Steam. With Steam showing a disinterest in supporting blockchain enabled games, Elixir and other platform apps have been more than happy to fill that void. Elixir hosts a large selection of both web3 and web3 games on their platform.
They even allow you to connect your Epic Games and GoG accounts to access the games you own from those platforms in one central location. The Elixir launcher is available on Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
This will just add to Elixir’s ever growing portfolio of web3 games, which already includes Dread Arena, Tollan Worlds, Boss Fighters, Hash Rush, Chronos, Undead Blocks, Aradena Battlegrounds, and many more! It seems that every week they announce new partnerships. They even just recently announced a partnership with Gamestop to power their ‘Playr’ platform. With over 120 games already available on their platform, Elixir is here to stay!
