Life Beyond brings us a new event called GameOn. This event offers prizes for players who login and try out either of the current Trials available. With a reward pack that already includes an Otherside Deed, this free to play event is sure to attract some additional players!
Life Beyond already held a contest for their Solo Combat Trial feature earlier this year. And they also introduced Agility Trials not long ago. The Agility Trials see players using their running, jumping, dodging, and sliding abilities to make their way through an obstacle course.
Now players who login during the month of August and try out either challenge will earn entries into a raffle to be held at the end of the month. Known as the GameOn event, this contest started on August 1st. For every day that players login and try their skill on one of the Trial simulations, they will receive a raffle entry.
At the end of August, a drawing will be held, rewarding one lucky player with several prizes. All of the rewards for this event have not been revealed yet, but we do know that it will include an Otherside deed, which have a current floor price of over $1100 USD! The team says that they plan on revealing additional prizes over the coming weeks.

But that’s not the only recent news from Life Beyond. They just released the first version of their Mac client! Now MacOS users can enjoy the game also!
The team also held a Founder’s Chat earlier today. I wasn’t able to listen to the whole thing, and unfortunately, there wasn’t a recording. But I did manage to pick up a couple of tidbits about their upcoming plans
They hinted at several big partnership announcements, though they couldn’t yet reveal the partners themselves. The Life Beyond team also discussed the development of their DOL token and have a current, target release date of October 2023.
In addition, there was some talk about the first steps of land ownership. Founder Key owners should expect to receive a land drop later this year, though they likely won’t be usable until sometime in 2024.
And my final note from the chat is that Life Beyond plans a visual reboot for all of their existing NFTs sometime before the end of the year.
What is Life Beyond?
Life Beyond is a free-to-play, play-and-earn, FPS-style MMORPG with a third-person view. In Life Beyond, players are citizens of the Dolos Planet, an alien world around a distant star. During the first alpha, players worked to clear and defend land for the first settlement. Along the way they encountered a variety of hostile wildlife, many of them similar to giant, alien roaches!
The game follows the lore, with reasoning for the alpha events and shutdowns written in as part of the storyline. Players go on solo or group Missions for experience and rewards. But while doing so, they also help contribute towards larger, community goals which open up new events and prizes. Players will build the game world as the game progresses, clearing out areas to establish colonies.
Players have four classes to choose from, each with a different weapon selection. Try them out on solo missions or sign up for group missions to receive greater rewards.
Life Beyond is currently in-between alpha phases, though they have a 3D social hub available where players can access the Solo Combat Trials, Agility Trials, and a couple of other features.
