A new play and mint opportunity arises as Arc8, launches the Beastie collection, companions that players must grow and evolve from an egg. Once they reach maximum level, Beasties can even be minted into an NFT!
Who wants a Beastie? These free to own, play to mint creatures provide various bonuses to their owners and can even be minted into NFTs when they reach a high enough level! To get a Beastie, just install and play games with Arc8, a suite of free to play, casual, PvP games on mobile devices. Beasties start as an egg, and must be fed and in order to grow and evolve.
In order to hatch an egg, players must feed their egg. Food is acquired by playing and winning any game in the Arc8 platform. It can also be purchased through the game store. Eggs can only evolve by one level per day though, encouraging daily logins. Supposedly, the types of food that you feed your Beastie may have an effect on its final traits, but we don’t have any details on how this works.
Even from level 1, Beasties offers bonuses to their owners such as extra energy or bonus earnings. The Arc8 team also plans to soon add a staking / mining feature for Beasties.
With 40 million potential combinations, each Beastie will have its own appearance. Players receive a new Beastie egg each season. You can only evolve a Beastie from the current season. When a Beastie reaches maximum level (level 16?), the owner can choose to mint it as an NFT, making it tradable to other players.
What is Arc8?
Arc8 is a free to play, web3-enabled, mobile app featuring a number of competitive games under its roof. Arc8 has over a dozen skill-based games available. All of the games are in a duel PvP format. Players are paired up and then compete asynchronously to try and reach the highest score in the same game.
Arc8 also holds regular contests and seasons with various rewards including crypto tokens and NFTs. In the future Arc8 plans to add games that feature head to head, live matches with other players
