Sail Into Season Two of Gods Unchained

Gods Unchained announces Season Two of their popular, fantasy TCG, with new God powers, a new expansion set, new lands and lore, and more! We don’t have a lot of details yet, but we do have a number of interesting teasers!

After partnering with Epic Games for wider distribution, and opening up a seemingly successful sealed mode game option, Gods Unchained is ready to kick it into an even higher gear with the launch of what they are calling Season Two: Far Horizons.

Now, we don’t have any real details, but we do have quite a few roadmap items to ponder.

The initial announced for Far Horizons talks of whole new continents to discover. In fact, there is even a official poll form available with questions about sailing the high seas and other such adventures. It’s unclear what the purpose of this form may be, but it’s a fun little five question experience!

And in keeping with the nautical theme, Gods Unchained promises a new expansion set that will “make a splash”, with new cards, new lore, and a new game mechanic! Buckle up sailors! The seas may get a little rough!

All of the Gods will get new looks with Season Two, with new in-game portraits. God powers will also see some changes. Again, we don’t have details but they team says they’re designed to offer new ways to approach playing each domain, which sounds pretty cool!

The Gods Unchained team says that they also want to supercharge their Content Creator program by offering exclusive rewards and early access to some of the community creators. And finally, they also hint at a new partnership to help with their goal of reaching more mainstream gamers.

Whatever Season Two may bring, it is certainly an exciting time to be a Gods Unchained player!

What is Gods Unchained?

Gods Unchained is a free-to-play, collectible card game. Built on the Ethereum blockchain, Gods Unchained uses the Immutable X layer-2 solution for gas-free trading. Players retain full ownership over their cards. Players can earn digital ‘Core’ cards by playing the game. When a player has two identical Core cards, they can mint these into one blockchain-based card. That card is then tradeable on the markets.

Gods Unchained offers several play and earn opportunities. Players gain cards by being active players, win packs while competing in the weekend tournaments, and can earn GODS tokens simply by playing every day!

With several expansions its belt, Gods Unchained has a wide variety of cards for different playstyles. Players can buy and open packs from the official site. Secondary sales are available on the Immutable X Marketplace and Token Trove.
