OKX wallet team urged wallet users to upgrade the OKX mobile wallet to the latest version.
OKX is a popular crypto exchange known for different types of simple crypto trading services. In the present time, this exchange is the 6th top crypto platform by crypto trade volume.
On 19 Dec 2023, A popular blockchain security firm Certik reported that they found a critical bug in the OKX mobile wallet.
The type of the bug is Remote Code Execution (RCE). With the help of this hug, a hacker can easily target the computing device & can easily make changes remotely, no matter where the device is located.
Following this report to the OKX team, the OKX team responded quickly and fixed the vulnerability.
The OKX team officially talked about this matter and thanked the Certik team for finding out about this critical bug associated with the OKX mobile wallet.
OKX urged the users to update the wallet to iOS version 6.45.0 as soon as possible.
